You dont even have to play offensively with it, just place it on a choke point and protect it with couple of AT guns incase the enemy has alot of tanks, but you dont even need this.
Just,Relic, if you read this, please explain, what were you thinking while even designing this commander? It has great early game ability (vet), decent midgame(G43), and uber Endgame(Tiger ace, ofcourse, what else?), it's too much! The 25% MP income reduction is not enough at all, yes u get 90% fuel income decrease, but why in the name of hell would you need any further fuel if you have this big daddy on the field. GIve me an IS 2 ace commander then, so I can train my conscrips up to lvl 3 right away, also giving them PPSHs in the mid of battle and in the end a super unit without fuel cost, which will destroy any inf and armour, paint this IS 2 completely red with a big Stalin portrait on its rear.
The Commander is even without him pretty unique with his vet up ability and rifles, but thats not enough, NO!, lets give them a unit which will simply pull OH player out of most desperate situations. But WHY, WHY! WHY?! is there a Tiger Ace? This unit ruins the game for me for millions of reasons. I can accept everything in terms of balance about this game.
